I feel like two of my little birdies have kind of left the nest. Our oldest son E has been a huge help with the wheat harvest and raked straw the other night until he couldn't see anymore! Our second son K was helping DH stack large straw bales in the field so DH could load them on the wagons! It is amazing to me how much they have matured over the last year!
We have about 100 acres of wheat to harvest out of 500. My BIL has a friend with a combine exactly like ours. His wheat was not quite ready so he offered to help us get ours in the bins. He helped for three days and we were able to get 300 acres off! I took a lot of pics of both combines in the field!
